The Tobacco Factory Market is held every Sunday from 10am – 2.30pm in the outside space at the Tobacco Factory on Raleigh Road, Bedminster, South Bristol. With around 40 food and craft stalls, this thriving community market features a fabulous range of local produce, prepared, harvested, cooked, baked, designed and made in the area. The market has a strong emphasis on ethical, eco-friendly, fair trade, organic and local products, and you can meet the producers, chat with them and ask questions.
Every 1st Sunday of the month is Retroville. This takes place alongside the regular market, and features a selection of stalls selling vintage and retro clothing, jewellery, home ware, records, furniture and more.
A visit to the Tobacco Factory Market can be combined with lunch at the Tobacco Factory Cafe Bar, which serves lovely food and drinks.
If you are an artist, designer or maker who would like to have a go at selling your work, the Tobacco Factory Market is a great place to have a stall. To apply for a stall you will need to email: firstname.lastname@example.org. To make sure there is a good mix of things to buy, stalls are selected according to their suitability, rather than on a “first come, first served” basis.
