The 6th West Bristol Arts Trail will be taking place on the weekend of 12th and 13th October 2013. This trail covers the Bristol postcode of BS8, which includes the areas of Clifton Village, Clifton Wood, Hotwells, and the western part of Redland.
Approximately 100 local artists will be opening their homes and studios to the public to show work for you to browse and buy. Venues also include shops and cafes, churches and the Bristol School of Art on Queen’s Road. Artists working across a range of areas such as painting, ceramics, print, textiles, photography and more will be on hand to discuss their work and share their passion for art, craft and design. Trail venues will be open from 11am until 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
A Public Preview event is being held on Friday October 11th from 6pm to 9pm at the Bristol School of Art (RWA Building near the Victoria Rooms). This venue – which hosts well over 20 artists on the Trail itself – will be the gateway to the 2013 Trail. No invitation is required for this preview and everyone is welcome to attend. Several artists from the rest of the Trail will also be on hand with samples of their work and an official opening of the Trail will take place at approximately 7.30pm.
For more information about the artists taking part in the 2013 West Bristol Arts Trail and where to find them, visit the trail website: http://www.westbristolarts.com. Paper copies of the Art Trail brochures can also be found at many locations around the BS8 area of Bristol.
Looking forward to a fantastic weekend of art!
